hi all
if you haven’t noticed , i am a total mac geed, and, that i like good games for the mac. well, Ambrosia software has released some really cool screen shots of a new game that lost minds is developing. it is called Sketch Fighter 4000 Alpha. long name for such a cool game.
here is a quote from their website.
Remember those super-cool space ships you doodled on graph paper, waging massive intergalactic battles in History class with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance? Well they have sprung to life in Sketch Fighter 4000 Alpha! Bringing together line artwork created with One Pen together with a killer resolution independent OpenGL graphics engine may seem like an odd juxtaposition… that is until you give Sketch Fighter 4000 Alpha a whirl! (from the ambrosia upcoming section)
it is not very well know but the progress log has had 18,228 views. i have been asking on Redline multiplayer if anybody has heard of it but no one has. but here are some of the key elements
—– Audio —–
* Original sound-effects with stereo panning
* Original seven song mp3 soundtrack
—– Gameplay 1P —–
* Save stations to save your progress
* Minimap showing what areas you’ve explored
* Five interconnected different regions to explore
(The Wasteland, The Factory, The Volcano, The Ice Caves and The Forest)
* Seven major bosses and four mini-bosses
* Weapon system with four base colors and four delivery methods, making 16 weapon combinations
* Missiles, shield and ship upgrades
—– Gameplay 2P —–
* Cooperative or competitive play
* Six different arenas for both modes of play (one of which is unlocked when you finish the one player game)
* Elastic tether connect the players for unique gameplay (came from the ambrosia forums )
you can check out the screenshots in my flickr set. you can see the progress log here. I think that it is going to be awesome. if you really like good games, you should check out Ambrosia’s other software and games here

hi all
yesterday i saw “Honk” and today i saw the remix of the nutcracker “Mixed Nutz”. they were both great. on friday i went to the tech and spent all my time in the new “game on” exibite. my favorite game there was Lego Star Wars that i played with a boy on my soccer team.
